There is no login and no account system. We do not create a profile for you or keep a record of your visits.

This site sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. The result of the “test” is generated entirely in your browser.

If you add a photo or a video, it is previewed and displayed entirely in your browser. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else — there is no upload server or storage backend. When you close or reload the page, it's gone.

When you tap the button, your cat's name and description are used in your browser to generate a result. We don't send them anywhere for that.

If you choose to shareyour result, the name and description you typed are encoded into the link's web address so the same result can be reproduced. When someone opens that link, our hosting provider uses those words to render the page and its preview image. We don't store them; as with any website, the host may keep standard, short-lived server request logs. So: don't put anything private into the description if you plan to share the link.

We link out to the App Store (Apple) and to our cats' Instagram. Those are separate services with their own privacy policies — this one only covers ismycatcrazy.com.

This is a general-audience joke site that doesn't knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
